Founded by Dawn Sheue and now led alongside Adam Sheue and the Summit team, the agency has grown from a local Wyoming business into a trusted Rocky Mountain resource serving employers across Jackson, Star Valley, Idaho Falls, and surrounding communities. That long-standing independent structure allows clients to receive practical recommendations, responsive support, and carrier comparisons focused on what truly fits their business and employees.

Adam Sheue

Owner & President

My name is Adam Sheue, and I am the Owner and President of Summit Insurance Services. I grew up in Jackson, Wyoming, where my parents both had successful careers in the health insurance industry. From a young age, I developed a passion for helping employers provide meaningful benefits to their employees. Since 2010, I have specialized in helping business owners properly navigate and enhance one of their most effective hiring and retention tools: a strong employee benefits package.

 

Having an employee benefits package tailored specifically to a company's needs can create a happier, more productive work environment while helping attract and retain top talent. The insurance industry is constantly evolving, and our clients have always trusted the entire team and me at Summit Insurance Services to stay current on the latest strategies, regulations, and industry knowledge, giving them confidence and peace of mind.

 

I have lived in the Rocky Mountain region for nearly my entire life. Growing up here with my family has given me a deep appreciation and respect for the people, businesses, and communities that make this region so special. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and taking advantage of everything the outdoors has to offer. Whether we're golfing, boating, or riding snowmobiles during the winter, I cherish the opportunity to share the lifestyle I love with the people who matter most. Family has always been at the center of my life, and those values carry over into the relationships I build with our clients and the way I serve our community.

Executive Account Manager

Tina Prestwich brings more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong background in customer service and client support. She is known for her extensive knowledge, professionalism, and dedication to helping clients navigate their insurance needs with confidence. Tina takes pride in building lasting relationships and providing personalized service to ensure every client feels supported and informed.

Nicholas Saxton

Nicholas Saxton has been a valued member of the Summit Insurance Services team for several years and has become part of our family. Kristi Dawson

Controller

Kristi Dawson serves as the Controller at Summit Insurance, where she has spent the past six years overseeing the company's financial operations with precision and integrity. While her primary focus is managing the agency's finances, Kristi is much more than the Controller—she is an invaluable member of the Summit Insurance family who lends her expertise and support across many areas of the business.

 

Kristi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from DeVry University, providing her with a strong technical foundation and the leadership skills needed to guide the finance team. Her attention to detail, dedication, and willingness to help wherever needed make her an essential part of Summit's continued success. Whether she's ensuring financial accuracy, streamlining processes, or supporting her teammates, Kristi's commitment to excellence is evident in everything she does.
